The FAZ xEffect series is the ideal application for industrial and high-end building installations.  This application is a protective device that is equipped with both thermal and electromagnetic release that is available in a range of pole versions. Eaton FAZ-B6/1 is type-tested and approved according to IEC/EN 60947-2 (VDE 0660-101). 

The MCBs protect cables against damage due to overload and short circuits. If a dangerously high current was to occur, the circuit breaker’s bimetallic thermal release will disconnect the power supply. In the event of a short circuit, the electromagnetic release will disconnect the power supply in a timely manner.
