The PLANET product family was pre-launched at the SPS 2025 the single and three phrase DIN-Rail power supplies have been developed to meet the most demanding industrial applications. What makes the PLANET series unique to any other power supply within the marketing? PULS has designed this power supply with customer’s best interest. This is the first DIN-Rail power supply to feature active load sharing in parallel operation. With this technology high power systems can be realised more quickly using fanless power supplies. Precise control balances the load between power supplies, ensuring thermal distribution and thus optimal systems reliability.
PULS PLANET series includes single-phrase and three-phrases models rated to 960W. Compact in size but not little in efficiency, with its efficiency level being at 97% this reduces energy losses, heat generation, lowers operation costs and contributes to CO2 reduction. Control panels will be more efficient and less compact, the three-phrases 960W is 79mm in width!

By incorporating the PLANET within applications with dynamic loads, such as motor control in intralogistics and robotics the series offers Dynamic BonusPower, which automatically adapts to the changing demands of the application. This technology the three-phase TP960 can provide power reserves between 120% (continuous) and 200% (12 seconds), depending on the duration. This enables reliable handling of acceleration processes without the need to use oversized power supplies.

Control systems that are running for long periods of time will benefit from this series, due to the MTBF of up to 325,000 hours and a minimum service life of 100,000 hours. This is a sophisticated convection-cooled design supports reliable continuous operation without a fan. The optimised HiccupPlus protection mechanism increases system safety in the event of overload or short circuit.

Engineers will seek the advantage of the quick-connect terminals and voltage selctior with preset values. This ensures fast installation of the three-phrase variants. Additionally PULS PLANET series has a LED load indicator AC-OK/DC-OK signals and documentation accessible via QR code make installation and maintenance easier.
