This now ready for production and available to order. This safety solution has been designed with an IP67/ IP69K module expanding PILZ’s decentralized I/O portfolio with a flexible, high-performance solution for both standard and fail-safe applications — even in the harshest industrial environments.
The PDP67 IO-Link Safety Master connects up to four IO-Link Safety or IO-Link devices (4× IOLS ports) and provides four configurable safe ports (4× 2FDIOs), which can be used as either safe inputs or safe outputs. PILZ new safety solution offers up to 8 fail-safe digital inputs and outputs, making it ideal for decentralized safety architectures and modular machine designs.
The IO-Link Safety Master PDP67 from Pilz is a versatile, all-purpose device designed to connect a wide variety of components. It supports IO-Link and IO-Link Safety, as well as safe and standard input/output (I/O) signals. By incorporating dedicated functional safety communication, it significantly extends the capabilities of a traditional IO-Link Master.
As a decentralised interface to the higher-level safety controller, the IO-Link Safety Master facilitates seamless point-to-point connections directly at the field level. Furthermore, the module features configurable ports, allowing for the flexible processing of both safe input and output signals.
